Rock River Internet has purchased assets of Boldnet.net. It was refreshing to discover that the owners of Boldnet truely cared about their customers and their obligations and we are proud to have been chosen as their successor. Rock River Internet is committed to make every effort to honor the existing prepaid customer obligations of Boldnet LLC and to maintain e-mail addresses at the former Boldnet domains as required by our new customers.

Boldnet customers should receive a mailing within the next few days including our Rock River Internet Quick Setup CD and letters from both Boldnet,LLC and Rock River Internet.

Boldnet customers have the option to pay for their new service either on an annual or monthly basis. We accept all credit and debit cards, checks, and cash payments at our downtown Rockford office location on the 8th floor of the Rockford Trust Building. Call 815-968-9888 for plans and pricing.

Rock River Internet office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm. We are also in the office on weekends at various hours. Tech support hours are 7 days a week from 7:00am to 9:00pm. If there is no answer, please leave a brief message and we will call you right back.

Boldnet, LLC ceased providing dial up service on Tuesday November 9, 2004.

Our staff understands computers and the Internet, but more importantly, we understand that many people don't. We can help you make sense of the baffling array of standards and acronyms and help you get the most out of the Internet.

All critical servers run hot-swap raid arrays and replacement servers are available for immediate cold-swap. We have multi-homed DS-3 connections on diverse paths from the Internet backbone to our downtown Rockford NOC (Network Operations Center). We use redundant Cisco 7200 family core routers running HSRP for automatic failover and BGP4 routing protocol. Our network has fault tolerance that is unsurpassed in the Rockford area. We are not at the mercy of any one provider's stability. All circuits are monitored and engineered to run 24/7/365.
