Rock River Internet's New voip Phone System!

Customer service is the number one priority at Rock River Internet. We try to make qualified people available as much as needed. A new state of the art phone system has been installed to improve our reachability and to allow us to return calls even faster than before.

We have just installed a new voip (voice over IP) phone system with auto-attendant and voicemail at our NOC (network operation center).

This should allow us to serve our customers better and faster. The auto-attendant will direct calls to the proper person either through short menus or directly by extension.

Here is an example of the logic for a support call. You would dial 968-9888 then press 2 when the attendant answers. The call then follows one of two sequences depending on the time and date of the call.

During our normal staffed hours, it will sequentially try our support technicians in the office, if they are busy or unavailable, it will go to support voicemail and it will send an e-mail and a text message to all the support technicians.

After staffed hours, it will try one of the in office support phones then try cell phones for the support staff it will go to support voicemail and send an e-mail and a text message to all the support technicians.

Calls to sales are routed in a similar manner.

Our office is staffed Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm. Our sales and support hours are from 7:00am to 9:00pm - 7 days a week.

The new system also includes 24/7/365 emergency access numbers for our dedicated and colocation customers.
